My name is David Dick and I gladly recommend Cole Armstrong for any Lighting/Comp team. I worked with Cole for the first time on the upcoming 3D series ‘Sausage Party: Foodtopia.’ I was Series Directing and Cole was our Lighting/comp Lead.

We did our reviews with the whole Lighting Team present and in a high pressure environment, Cole remained really adaptable, creative, and supportive of his crew. He consistently delivered beautiful shots to us, took notes exceedingly well, and gave clear and concise feedback. 

On this show in particular, expectations were very high. The Lighting/Comp team were tasked daily with seemingly impossible asks and challenging turn around times but Cole routinely was the first voice to come up with creative alternative solutions that worked, we loved, and that had significant positive impacts on our show. From a director’s standpoint, creatives  like this are worth their weight in gold. His technical knowledge, creative eye, and ability to adapt on the fly made him a voice I learned to pay close attention to in reviews.

I can’t recommend Cole enough and know he’ll do amazing on whatever team he joins. He’s on my short list and I look forward to when we can work together again.
